Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 September 2026
These terms cover the public Patchr bot run by Anthony (@anthonyf2312 (opens in a new tab)), an individual in the United Kingdom. By adding Patchr to a server or using its commands, you agree to them.
- What Patchr is. A free bot that posts patch notes, from GitHub releases and from notes you write, to Discord channels you choose.
- Who can use it. You need to meet Discord’s minimum age and follow Discord’s Terms of Service (opens in a new tab).
- It’s free. Patchr costs nothing and nothing is sold, so there are no payments to refund.
- Your content. You’re responsible for the notes you post with Patchr and the repositories you connect. Don’t use Patchr to post anything that breaks Discord’s Terms of Service (opens in a new tab) or Community Guidelines (opens in a new tab).
- Fair use. Don’t try to overload, disrupt or misuse Patchr, or use it to spam. Servers that do may lose access, and Patchr may be removed from them.
- No guarantees. Patchr is provided as is, without warranty. It may be changed, paused or shut down at any time, and posts can arrive late or not at all.
- Liability. To the extent the law allows, Anthony isn’t liable for any loss or damage from using Patchr. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow to be limited.
- Privacy. What Patchr stores, and how to delete it, is in the Privacy Policy.
- Changes. These terms may change. Changes are made in this file, and continuing to use Patchr means you accept them.
- Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your own country’s courts.
Patchr’s source code is available under the MIT license. These terms apply to the hosted bot, not to the code.
